WHAT TYPES OF VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE?

We offer a wide variety of volunteer programs that cater to different individual interests you may have, as well as the overall type of experience you are looking for. Our programs currently include volunteering at a local childcare facility, teaching at a local school, sports coaching with children, working in the healthcare system, community development, environment and conservation projects, women empowerment efforts, and agriculture projects. 


We also offer volunteer opportunities for teenagers, students looking to fill a “gap year”, students on Spring, Summer, or Winter break, mature individuals looking for a break from their careers, and anyone else who’s looking to help those in need and have a life-changing experience.

HOW LONG DOES YOUR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM RUN?

We offer a wide range of programs and a variety of program lengths. Individuals who don’t have a lot of time in their schedules will be pleased to learn that we offer opportunities as short as just one week in length. However, we also offer programs for as long as four weeks and even longer.

WHERE WILL I BE STAYING?

You have the option of staying on the north coast of the island in the resort town of Ocho Rios, or you can stay in Kingston, where you’ll enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Blue Mountains and spectacular views of the city. Our accommodations are dormitory-style volunteer houses. The rooms are equipped with fans, but there is the option to pay US$5 per day for air conditioning if available in the volunteer home.


All accommodations have electricity, running water, western-style bathrooms, and free wifi.
